The Moncton Public Library contributes to the quality and vitality of life in the community. By reaching out to people from all walks of life, cultures, and backgrounds, local businesses and other community organizations through its books, materials, and programs, the library makes the City of Moncton a better place to live.
With the population of the city growing at an impressive rate and the ever-rising costs of books and materials, the Moncton Public Library has reached the point at which the needs of the community extend beyond available funds.
In response to these expanding needs and shrinking budgets, the Moncton Public Library Board has begun seeking ways to increase its ability to purchase books and other materials and to continue to offer all of its exciting programming.
