Need More Time?
If no one else has requested the item, you can renew a loan twice, online, by phone or in person at any public library.
Late fees
Our collections are shared by all New Brunswickers. We charge fees for late items so that items are returned on time, ensuring that everyone has access to them.
Loans from a library: 15¢/item/day (max 3$)
Book Club in a Bag: 15¢/item/day (max 3$)
Replacement cards
Lost = 2$ ; Damaged = Free
If you owe $20 or more in unpaid fees, you will be required to make a payment before borrowing more items. Items overdue for 35 days or more are considered lost until returned, and the system will automatically send an invoice to replace them.
Email notifications
Ask us how to sign up to receive courtesy emails about upcoming due dates and holds that are available for pick up. Please note that it is always the responsibility of the borrower to ensure that items are returned on time.
