Library cards are free. With your library card, you have access to all the collections from all the public libraries in the province including books, DVDs, magazines, eBooks, audiobooks and more. That’s more than 1.8 million items! To sign up for a library card, you can bring a piece of up-to-date government identification to the library along with a proof of your New Brunswick address.
You can also sign up for a library card online. When you register online, your library card will be mailed to you. You will then be asked to verify your address the next time you visit the library.
To replace a lost or stolen card, please visit the library in person with a piece of ID. Replacement cards are $2.
